Club. The 2014 Membership Gift is a 15 year Pioneer
Chapter pin.
Treasurers Report - Paul Michels reported we now have two accounts and we have changed our name to PCRC.
Old Business -
The 2014 Pioneer Chapter Riders Club Rally was
discussed.
- We held the 2014 Pioneer Chapter Riders Club Rally on July 9th
– 13th 2014.
-The turnout was about 30 bikes.
- On Wednesday we met at North Star Power Sports in Albert Lea and test drove
some of the new Victory Motorcycles and had dinner and drinks back at the hotel as a group with North Star Power Sports.
- Thursday morning we met back at North Star Power Sports prior to the ride to
Winona. Brad started the morning off with a prayer prior to the ride that was led by
Doug and Jesse Bruns.
-Friday was the Poker Run to St. Peter from Winona which came with a lot of rain.
We had Tents, trailers, tables, and signs setup as our base at the American inn in St.
Peter for the final stop of the day where we had pulled pork sandwiches and held our
July meeting as a group.
-Saturday some of the club took a ride to the Schell’s brewery over in New Ulm and
were able to dodge all rain. In the evening we had a great dinner at Whiskey River and
closing meeting for the run.
-It was decided to change our name from Pioneer Chapter Excelsior-Henderson®
Riders Club to Pioneer Chapter Riders Club (PCRC).
- Old Inventory - Was reviewed and moved.
New Business -
Discussion - The Group discussed further on having more riding/activities other than
just the Annual Rally during 2014. We also discussed having a rally at Phoenix Bike
Week which will be held the first weekend of April 2015. Paul has been in contact
with Dave and Jennie Hanlon. Please let us know if you have ideas. There was
discussion about having a fall ride to the Brainerd area.
It was decided to change our name from Pioneer
Chapter Excelsior-Henderson® Riders Club to Pioneer
Chapter Riders Club (PCRC).
-2015 Rally Will be held from Wednesday 7/8/15 to Sunday 7/12/15. There was
discussion on new locations. Possibly two nights in Winona or driving down to
Poopy's in Savanna Illinois. If you have any other ideas please let the officers know. We are looking to travel 150 miles or less a day.
Brian from North Star Power Sports in Albert Lea has also invited us back next year. Anyone that wants to volunteer to help please let the officers know. We are looking to travel 150 miles or less a day.
Trade Mark Issues -
Trade Mark Issues - Second letter sent - no response to date.
Donations -
The club recieved donations from Charlie Meyer from the Amsoil tent at the rally and from Michels Dry wall.
Next Meetings -
The September meeting will be held at the Hasting American Legion on Sunday September 28th at 10:00 am.
Misc -
Pioneer Chapter Owned Super X Tools - Buck Bailey
has the Pioneer Chapter owned tools and now has the
Time-Sert front and back drain plug repair kits
available. There will be a nominal cost for the
inserts. Just contact Buck at ksbailey@mchsi.com or
612-860-7278 as they are available for use by any of
our members.
