Membership Report - Dues for 2014 are $25.

check make it out to the Pioneer Chapter Riders
Club. The 2014 Membership Gift is a 15 year Pioneer
Chapter pin.
Treasurers Report - Paul Michels reported no
changes. The treasury is in good shape.
Old Business -
The 2014 Pioneer Chapter Riders Club Rally was
discussed.
- The dates are July 9-13, 2014.
- We will plan on meeting on July 9th Wednesday at
North Star Power Sports in Albert Lea like usual.

- Thursday night July 10th we will be at the
Americinn at Winona MN - phone 507-457-0249. Doug
and Jesse Bruns will help map out the route from
Albert Lea to Winona.
- Friday we are planning on having a Poker Run this
year in route to St Peter. Paul Michels, Loren
Herrmann and Adam will help map out the ride from
Winona to St Peter.
- The Rally will be based at the Americinn in St
Peter MN Friday thru Saturday July 11th & 12th, -
phone 507-931-6554. They provide Free, Hot,
Home-Style Breakfast - Free, Hotel-Wide, High-Speed
Internet - Indoor Heated Pool, Hot Tub & Sauna and
Whirlpool & Fireplace Suites are available.
- Locher Bros Beer Dist is going to sponsor the
Rally and make up banners for all our various stops.
- All plans/ideas are tentative at this time so if
you have input let us know.
- An E-mail only Rally Brochure for the 2014 Rally
is planned.
- The Rally shirts for 2014 have been ordered, paid
for, and will use designs similar to previous
Shirts.
- Cost for the 2014 Rally will be $50.
- Rooms have been blocked for Pioneer Chapter Riders
Club or PCRC at the above mentioned motels so you
can call and make your reservations, the sooner the
better. Be sure to mention Pioneer Chapter Riders
Club or PCRC.
New Business -
Election of Officers - We have elected the
new club officers as followed. Director - Chuck
Barsness, Secretary - Adam Herrmann, and a new
Membership Chairman - John Jones.
Discussion - The officers discussed further
on having more riding/activities other than just the
Annual Rally during 2014. We also discussed having
a rally at Phoenix Bike Week which will be held the
first weekend of April 2015. Please let us know if
you have ideas. There was discussion about having a
fall ride to the Brainerd area. More discussion at
next meeting
Bylaws - There was discussion and
recommendations for changes to the Pioneer Chapter
Bylaws. There will be further discussion at the
next meeting.
It was decided to change our name from Pioneer
Chapter Excelsior-Henderson® Riders Club to Pioneer
Chapter Riders Club (PCRC).
Moving in the right direction - A new member
with a un-registered bike just joined the club.
Four new members that have not had a membership in
the past 3 years have re-joined the Pioneer Chapter
Riders Club. The 2014 Holiday Get-together party in
February was the biggest turn out ever.
Next Meetings -
For the April Meeting we are planning a ride
Saturday April 19th in conjunction with The Annual
Flood Run which is the 3rd Saturday of April. We
plan to meet at the American Legion at Hastings at 8
AM for a breakfast meeting.
- John has confirmed the Legion opens at 7:00
am serving food.
- We will be leaving the American Legion at
9:30 am.
- We will be at Diamond Bluff approximately
11:00am
- Be at Nelson Wisconsin from 12:15 to 1:30
pm.
- After Nelson everyone can go their own way
The May Meeting will be held at Noon Sunday May 18th
at Minnesota Super X located at 301 N Main St, Le
Sueur, MN 56058
The June Meeting will be held on Saturday June 14th
at Paul Michels home at 41627 Ottawa Road St Peter
MN 56082. 507-340-3095. Tour of Redman club, Lone
star, AmericanInn Hotel for the upcoming rally.
Misc -
Pioneer Chapter Owned Super X Tools - Buck Bailey
has the Pioneer Chapter owned tools and now has the
Time-Sert front and back drain plug repair kits
available. There will be a nominal cost for the
inserts. Just contact Buck at ksbailey@mchsi.com or
952-440-9989 as they are available for use by any of
our members.
